CONTESTS!

Why complete and submit a project to a STEM contest?

Students are eligible to begin applying for select college scholarships at the age of 13.  Applying for college scholarships can a be daunting and stressful task.  Students can prepare themselves for the process of scholarship submissions by completing fun and engaging projects for local and national contests!  Even if you do not win money or place in the contest, your participation will be a wonderful addition to your college application.

Participation in STEM contests offering monetary gain tends to be lower among middle school age groups.  If you participate now, your chances of winning amongst your middle school peers will be greater than elementary and high school participants.
